Safety in Motion: Celebrating Samsara Verified Safest Driver

Celebrating excellence, outstanding performance and an ongoing commitment to road safety

Scotlynn is proud to celebrate driver Jorge Costa, who has earned the prestigious title of a 2025 Samsara Verified Safest Driver. This recognition is reserved for a select group of drivers who consistently prioritize safety behind the wheel. Jorge’s outstanding performance, exceeding the benchmark for safety event rates across all Samsara customers, reflects his commitment to safe driving, as well as his professionalism and consistency on the road. 

Since rejoining Scotlynn in June 2020, Jorge has logged over 900,000 kilometers and successfully completed more than 600 orders with over 98.5% on-time delivery. For perspective, that’s enough distance to travel to the moon and back with kilometers to spare, or to circle the Earth’s equator 22.5 times! In the last year, alone, Jorge covered over 185,000 kilometers behind the wheel without a single safety event. 

At Scotlynn, safety is a top priority, ensuring our drivers are being safe out on the road. Canada and the U.S. Samsara’s Safe Driving Scores assess factors like speeding, traffic signal compliance, harsh braking or cornering, and collision data, making a perfect score an outstanding mark of safety and reliability. Achievements like this highlight the strong safety culture and dedication that define our entire driving team, displaying not only high-productivity and efficiency, but doing it safely.
