Insights That Drive UsDriving Supply Chain Innovation with AI: Recapping this Year’s Supply Chain Summit
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning are transforming the logistics industry at an unprecedented pace. Staying ahead means embracing the technologies driving this change. At Scotlynn, we’re committed to leading the conversation on the future of supply chain management.
Recently, we hosted the Fall 2025 Supply Chain Forum of Southwest Florida at our Fort Myers office in partnership with Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business and it’s Center for Supply Chain Excellence. The event brought together a diverse mix of industry professionals and emerging supply chain leaders for a day of insightful discussions and collaboration.
Through panel sessions, networking opportunities, and interactive presentations, participants explored how AI is reshaping the logistics landscape, from predictive analytics and route optimization to warehouse automation and demand forecasting. The forum featured an outstanding lineup of speakers from Deloitte, Procter & Gamble, and KnitWell Group, each offering unique expertise and real-world perspectives on AI’s growing impact across supply chain and logistics operations.

These sessions highlighted the critical role of AI in driving efficiency, resilience, and innovation throughout supply chains. The consensus was clear: success in today’s logistics environment depends not only on adopting advanced technologies but on integrating them strategically to achieve meaningful results.
“The role of AI in supply chain and logistics management is evolving at a rapid pace. It’s important to take a proactive approach to education and experimentation regarding AI. We’ll continue to deliberately leverage AI to enhance speed, accuracy, or efficiency and introduce the appropriate solutions to stand out in a crowded field.”

To fully harness AI’s potential, organizations must start by identifying innovations that align with their long-term business objectives. Implementing targeted solutions that enhance growth, streamline operations, and improve productivity can deliver lasting results. By staying informed about new developments and thoughtfully incorporating them into existing workflows, businesses can remain agile, reduce costs, and strengthen their competitive edge.
This year’s Supply Chain Forum reinforced the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in driving the next generation of supply chain excellence. At Scotlynn, we’re proud to foster these conversations and help our partners and clients leverage AI and emerging technologies to build smarter, stronger, and more resilient supply chains.
