Awards

In 2009 the Ontario Produce Marketing Association honored Scott Biddle President and CEO of Scotlynn Longhorn Group with their “Fresh Award”.

The Fresh Award is one of four awards given out by the Produce Marketing Association each year and is awarded to a young individual, or newcomer to the industry, that has demonstrated innovation, passion, spirit and dedication towards the produce industry and consistently exhibits a fervent determination to improve the quality, distribution or consumption of fruit and vegetables marketed within or outside the province of Ontario.

In 2009 Scott was also honored by the Simcoe and District Chamber of Commerce with an Outstanding Business Achievement Award.

This award was given to honor excellence in tough economic times, for continually finding ways to grow and prosper undeterred by economic recession.
